Pets that need to travel freely to or from the UK and throughout the EU and other approved countries can obtain a passport under the following conditions
1. Microchip
2. Rabies vaccination
3. Rabies Antibody blood test
4. Vet clearance 48 to 24 hours before departure (to UK only)

If you have already had the necessary blood tests for entry into the UK but have not fulfilled the required time of incubation and are worried that you may have to leave your pet behind, Goldenway provides a welcome service to allow completion of the required 6 months needed before entry into the UK is permitted.

Goldenway Kennels are situated in the calm tranquillity of rural Normandy. Surrounded by fields and forest it is a haven for your pet. The paths are ideal, varied and interesting. Each day your pet is guaranteed two stimulating walks, Every day each pet has a period of play time in the company of our staff and where appropriate a game with other companionable pets.
Your pet is encouraged to form social bonds with their human carers and make friends with other pets. Toys are provided but pets are welcome to bring their own treasures or personal items if their owners so wish.
Every effort is made to allow your pet as much freedom and stimulation, company and love as is possible. Therefore the number of places is strictly limited to allow personal and particular care.
Pets are carefully groomed and bathed at no extra charge. Those pets that require stylised clipping are treated by specialist pet beauticians.
Food is of the best quality. All pets are fed according to their size and breed. Any dog with special dietary likes or needs will be catered for on request. Treats are part of your pets daily routine and every night a bed time pets are given a good night treat.
The above services are available for your pet for any period eg 1 week to six months.

Cattery
We also have a spacious cattery. Each box is individual with inside and outside runs, the cattery is centrally heated day and night in winter. Cats are kept cool and shady in the summer months. The cattery is visited regularly and cleaned daily. Every cat is stroked and handled each day.
Food is of the highest quality. Cat biscuits are available on demand and every evening fresh fish or top quality cat food is given. Fresh water is a priority and constantly changed. Any cat requiring a special diet can be accommodated.
